2tight fit

I’ve worn a 12B in Women’s shoes for most of my life. I don’t remember ever having it be too small before. A few have been too large, but not too small. This is a short 12, in my opinion. It is also a bit too shallow for any kind of orthotic.

2Wide size is no longer wide

New Balance, this is the first time you have let me down. These were billed as an upgrade on the 765. But I sent them back because the wide size was too narrow. And the quality seems to have slipped a notch. They felt cheaper than prior models.

5New Balance makes another good shoe

For the past 7 years, New Balance has always been my go-to running shoe. These shoes are replacing my 1224′s which I used for 2 years and totally loved. I was able to get these shoes on Amazon for $10 cheaper than anywhere else, so I was glad to find a good deal. I also appreciate that these shoes were made in the USA.

I walk/run 3 miles at least 3 days a week. I have a bad knee and a bad ankle, so I need to have a stability shoe. These shoes got me covered. Brand new, right out of the box, these shoes felt great. They seem lighter than my 1224′s while still giving my arches some support. New Balance shoes tend to run a little small, so I always buy 0.5 size larger. While I’m usually a 6.5, size 7 fits me perfectly.

I recommend these shoes for anyone looking for a reliable, well-made pair of shoes for moderate exercise.
