Nike half marathon – if you are looking for a good original race to run, look no further than the Nike Half Marathon kept in San Francisco each year! The race is run for a cause – to gain the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. Nike half marathon is an magnificent race to run your basi half marathon. It is kept in San Francisco in October each year. Though the race is held in October, the registration for the race is held earlier in the beginning of the year. In 2008, the registration was done through a random drawing – each person who signed up was entered into a drawing. If selected, you get the entry to run the half-marathon. Course The course covers a spectacular view of San Francisco including a few hills. The beginning of the race is in Union Square San Francisco. The course ends along the Pacific Ocean. It is a gorgeous course, there are beauteous views including that of the Golden Gate Bridge. You will find folks to cheer you all along the way from Mile 1 to Mile 13. There is entertainment, introductory support stations, family cheer stations and DJ stations along the way. In addition, there are respective stations located at almost each mile for water and Gatorade. Food is also offered at a lot of of the stations including bananas, Ghirardelli chocolate, Jamba Juice and more. Reward Nike has a way to lure women to sign up for the race.
