Split suede leather reinforcement allround provides aid and stability. Toe and heel caps protect the vulnerable ends of your feet. The molded EVA midsole cushions affect step after step. Comfy old Salomon

I had to finally get rid of my 5 year old Exits and plop down some money last year for a new pair. Not so much for hiking as for work. I needed something that breathes yet had the comfortable feeling I have had for years with these shoes. Was disappointed that I couldn’t find my old Exits. When I first put on Exits many years ago I was amazed at their fit. Whoever modeled their “lasts” I love him/her. I have off-sized feet and both felt good. SO I after a bit of research I bought the Exit Aero 2. Size 9.
Not disappointed at all. After 6 months of wear I’m ready to get another pair just to stick in the closet for when I need a new pair. When I first got them there was just a bit of stiffness. After a couple of days they were totally broken in for me. Great for walking around and more importantly, really nice for my more sedentary tasks and long days at work. Will be out hiking later this summer and give these a better test but they feel like my last pair that went on the Bay to Breakers a few years ago.

Salomon Men’s Exit 2 Aero walking shoe

This is an excellent shoe for most conditions.
The Contragrip sole is good over wet rocks which provides peace of mind.

This is a good quality low hiking shoe with good stability and traction. It is not waterproof though so don’t expect it to keep your feet dry.
