Dangerous on wet/slippery rock

These shoes are very comfortable! Unfortunately they are dangerous on wet or slippery rocks. We went to Belize and did a lot of rock/cave hiking and I almost had to take them off. My Merrill’s were a lot better the day before (got wet) and I wish I would have worn them even even though wet. These could have been outstanding hiking shoes except for this huge flaw. They didn’t test them?

A comfortable-out-of-the-box shoe. Am taking into account ordering a second pair for when these wear out so I may be sure of having another pair. Very good winter hiker. Just double-knot the ‘slippery laces’.
