ASICS GT-2160

Great running shoe very good feel even on introductory runs with them. I was using muzuno alchemy 7 but I find the gt has better stability for me. The GT likewise has great cushioning at the heal and box area. I run 2.5 to 5 miles a day.

2160 beats NB 993 for me and my wide feet!

Just started running and initially got the NB 993′s as they were ranked well here. I live in a rural area so couldn’t undertake on running shoes.

Big mistake.

I went to a runner store in VA and went through the fitting process.

I tried on NB, Brooks, Asics, and assorted models of each.

The 2160′s felt more molded/supportive to my feet than anything else including the Kayano 17′s.

I have worn the 2160′s now assorted times and each time I run in them I thank myself for getting them!

I don’t mind spending $150 or so on a running shoe, but this $100 shoe was superior to me.

Everyone’s feet are dissimilar so head to a store if you can.

Give these a undertake if you want ‘stability’ running shoes.

Same old dependable GT-21XX Shoe

I have worn the ASICS GT-21XX shoes for years now and the 2160 is the same old dependable shoe in this product line. I did have some difficulties with last years model (2150?) with both foot and knee soreness but not with the 2160, which is the whole reason I have stuck with this line for at least the last 7 years or so.

Solid trail shoe for ultra-running

I looked at a number of dissimilar trail shoes but decisive on this one from Montrail. Their shoes fit me well in the past so it felt like less of a chance ordering this one without attempting it on first. The shoes fit great. My initial test run was an 18-mile trail run. I had zero issues.

Having passed that test, I employed them for this year’s Leadville 100 trail run. The only issue I had was a little hot spot on my pinky toe at mile 40. A little duct tape prevented that from getting a blister. These shoes actually gave me selfassurance on the downhills. No one passed me while I descended from Hope Pass to Twin Lakes — not bad for a Detroit guy, but much credit goes to the shoes. They genuinely hooked up and felt stable.

I was initially concerned that the rock guard did not cover the heel, but that was not a problem.

Overall, I may commend them for easy, short trail runs as well as 100-milers through the Rocky’s.

Love these shoes

I ordinarily run in NB 1226 because I need the extra cushioning. Now I run a little over 20 miles per week on gravel roads and my feet were killing me from stepping on the pointed and uneven rocks. These Montrail shoes are astoundingly light weight, much less than the NB, but do a great occupation protecting your feet from all the sharp edges. The rock shield works like a champ, but is still flexible and does not make the shoe overly rigid. I would never run in them on hard surgfaces like asphalt or concrete because they lack the cushioning of the NB, but for sharp or uneven surfaces they are awesome.

Montrail Rockridge

I just started running systematically this last year, so I don’t have a lot of experience with running shoes. I do have an indoor pair of Nike Frees which I like, but for outdoors, I use the Montrail Rockridge trail shoes. In my opinion, the Rockridge trail shoes are more comfortable than the Nike Frees, but they are somewhat heavier and the bottom has rubber, which makes the Rockridge shoes harder. However, the whole reason I purchased these is because outdoor terrain is less forgiving than an indoor/outdoor track. These shoes feel comfortable on grass, gravel, and anything not paved/cemented. When I run on cement they feel a little stiff, but I prefer to run on the world next to the sidewalk. These shoes are designed for trails, and from what I may tell, they hold up well. I would commend these shoes to anybody who is looking for an outdoor trail running shoe. I gave a 5-star review because they are splendid for what they are designed for. I would not buy these for running on cement/pavement, but like I said, they are designed as trail shoes.

I’m a size 10 and ordered a size 10 which fit great. I ordinarily don’t order shoes online because I don’t recognise how they will fit. But this in truth worked out. I can’t wear shoes that have a high arch. Thankfully, these do not.

It’s a great, outstanding shoe for kids

Saucony shoes have proven to be fantastic shoes. Each fellow member of our family has at least one pair. My four year old has two pairs, and they are both keeping up fantastically. My 18 month old twins likewise have a pair, each. They were born prematurely, so they have developmental appointments with specialists just to track their progress, and the specialists commented on the fact that these kinds of shoes are the best for kids and walking. They are good sturdy shoes with splendid support. The sizes have always been right on. I do wish they were less expensive, but that’s just because I’m buying shoes for three growing boys; even so, I’ll remunerate for the quality. They’re unquestionably worth it!

We commonly buy my son’s Saucony shoes from Stride Rite but they didn’t have his size and he necessitated shoes ASAP. I purchased the 8.5 and they’re perfect, not too big so he may run in soccer class and not as little as the 7 I had him in…oops.

Exactly what I want

I saw this on Amazon with such cheap price and I may say that the quality is good and looks in truth nice. Sizing is perfect, I got an 8 and it feels study and lasting. Looks classy as well, perfective for jeans, shorts and casual dresses

The shoes were not the quality that I expected from Aldo. The shoes tend to run 0.5-1.0 small. Order up if you can. The bottom color blocks were a poor quality foam.

Lovely comfy boots

Really lovely boots, breathtakingly comfortable for wellies. I likewise had to interchange them for a dissimilar size ( my fault I ordered the faulty size by fault rather than a sizing issue) so I went to an Aldo store they didn’t have my size there, but had my size sent out free of charge.

I was so happy to find such a cute shoe at such a bargain price. The leather is rich and they are genuinely comfortable. There is one little spot that cuts into my instep but I imagine that will loosen after a couple of wears. The t strap and the heel give them a vintage vibe.
